Como Zoo Photo Shoot

Members of the Minneapolis Photographic Society and the Crosstown Camera Club were invited to attend an all day photo shoot at the Como Park Zoo recently by Holly Kuchera a member of both camera clubs. A fair number of members from both clubs, and one invited guest came out to shoot. As images from the participants come in we will post them here for all to enjoy. Below is the first batch and as you can tell I never made it to the animal exhibits, and Lars Michael went straight to them.

Lars is from the Crosstown Camera Club. This year he was awarded a "Competitor of the Year" trophy (tied with Steve Shor) for the member with the highest point total for images submitted to club salons for 2009-2010. Congratulations Lars and good job on your images at Como Zoo!

The exquisite detail of those pictures is truly fantastic. Lars Michael photography has its own character and the toning effect is graciously done. On the other hand Mark Karney lively photos of flowers had a detailed scope. You can really appreciate its diversity.
