It's spring (no really it is). That means the migratory birds will be coming back to share the warm weather that is sure to follow (this is also true). If you want some help locating our feathered friends to view and photograph read the recent article in the Minneapolis StarTribune about the upcoming birding festival from May 12-15.
The festival will be celebrated at a number of locations including the Springbrook Nature Center in Fridley, and a rare opportunity to go onto the Army Training site in Arden Hills. Also, there are events planned by the St. Paul Audubon Society during this same period. You can view their events and locations at Audubon Society.
