Below is the current map of fall color in Minnesota. The twin cities and immediate surrounding areas are still at 10-25%, but just North all the way to Canada the colors are at 50% peak or more.

Actually, according to this map, as of 9/26 there are only a few spots along the northern boundary of Minnesota that are at 50% peak or more ... so don't rush up North just yet!
Interestingly, Fort Ridgely State Park is already at peak.
