Their workshop, The Hack Factory, provides access to the tools along with experts willing to guide you through the tricky parts . They offer open houses every Wednesday night of the year, 7-10 pm. Pacific Northwest Timelapse

A photographer from Oregon wanted to capture the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with a time lapse sequence.  It took a little over a year and approximately 260,000 images to complete.  Below is the result:

We have featured a few time lapse photo sequences here in past posts.  If you would like to learn the fundamentals of creating a time lapse clip, there is a website that offers advice and tutorials on the subject called "Learn Time Lapse Photography". 

The site offers advice on how to get started, the equipment needed and how to produce a flicker-free time lapse sequence. It also provides a link to other videos on Youtube that reference this type of photography including the one below for beginners.

Beautiful Timelapse of Iceland

Iceland among other countries is called the land of the midnight sun for its long summer days. I suspect together with Norway, Sweden and Finland it is called something else less flattering in winter, maybe just "dark". Below is a time lapse that showcases the beauty of that country:
