Adobe has a website titled Adobe TV. It contains a large number of tutorials that cover the basics of all its products including Photoshop and Lightroom. The tutorials are free and divided into chapters so you can pick and choose the ones you wish to view. Each chapter is relatively short in length and covers some particular aspect of the product being discussed. For example, on the website tutorials are offered for Lightroom. Click on it and you are directed to a section containing 21 different tutorials that will introduce you to the entire basics of this program.
If you register with Adobe as a user on this site you can even save favorite episodes into a personal library for later viewing.
